What a great week for our Young Leader Scholarship Program (YLSP) students at the MACA Annual Meeting!

Our 2026 YLSP class, representing 11 colleges across the Midwest, joined us in Omaha for learning, networking, and connecting with agriculture professionals.

Students had the opportunity to network with industry professionals, participate in a leadership panel and speed networking session, explore career opportunities, and experience a professional association meeting firsthand.

One of our favorite parts was watching students build new friendships and professional connections throughout the week. A huge thank you to our MACA members and industry professionals who invested their time in these future agriculture leaders!

And a BIG thank you to our 2026 YLSP class for bringing such great energy and enthusiasm! 🌾

For more than 20 years, Eric Sfiligoj, editor of CropLife Magazine with Meister Media Worldwide, has been a proud partner and supporter of MACA.
Eric first attended a MACA meeting in 2003, stepping in to cover the event for the magazine. A few years later, he began writing stories and newsletter pieces for MACA. The relationship continues today, more than two decades later.

“It’s always great to see the knowledgeable, friendly faces each year. This group feels like an extended family, a tight-knit network that’s incredibly valuable for anyone in the industry.”

We’re grateful for Eric and CrCropLife Magazine long-standing partnership and commitment to sharing the stories that strengthen our industry.

As MACA’s Water Consultant and part of the Missouri Agribusiness Association, Andrea Rice plays a key role in keeping members informed about emerging water and ag policy issues across the region.

“We really try to work proactively instead of being reactive to legislation. It’s about helping retailers, ag companies, and the entire industry maintain a positive experience for both the ag community and the consumers we serve through food, fiber, and fuel.”

Through panels, discussions, and monthly updates, Andrea helps connect MACA members with the latest insights and resources to prepare for what’s ahead.

For longtime MACA member Brian Clark, involvement in the Mid America CropLife Association has been more than professional development:

“MACA gives you vision into what’s next in the industry. You hear the issues, see where the challenges are coming from, and it helps you prepare for your company and your own career.”
Brian’s advice?

“Get engaged, stay involved!”
