T.A.G Poetry T.A.G Poetry is an organization that serves the unhoused, low-income families, and at risk teens! T.A.G stands for, "To Acknowledge Greatness".

T.A.G mission is to exhort, educate, and minister to youth using poetry as a avenue to assist how we communicate and understanding that in which we read. T.A.G purposes to also dismantle the decriminalization of unhoused individuals. Tag your it, "To acknowledge the greatness" in yourself.

Imagine being around 7 or 9 years old and carrying the weight of financial responsibility instead of enjoying your childhood. Daily her family walks the beach to sell a total of 30 coconuts 🥥 for the price of 50C. I asked what her quota was for the day after I had already given her 100C, equal to $2.71 USD. With hesitancy in her voice, she said between 400 and 500 in Nicaraguan money. That would be equal to $10-13 USD. So I told her, "Well, now you officially surpass your goal because here goes an additional 500 C."Now you don't have to work anymore for the rest of the day. Still confused and surprised, she thanked me and walked away to continue to sell my coconuts. My heart broke because daily this is her life and even. Her parents could be seen in the distance selling their contribution to the family goal of $40 USD per day.

His name is Udon, a 45-year-old bicycle taxi driver in Nicaragua.He has been driving for 16 years now.Driving was never supposed to be the end goal for Udon, but between poor decision-making, alcoholism, and throwing away opportunities for education, this was the hand dealt to him. Even obtaining his bicycle taxi was not easy. If it had not been for a loan he took out at 30%. He would not be able to provide for his family
and himself. The average driver makes at best $13 USD for a day's worth of work, but it takes the entire day to accomplish that. Which is why he insisted on kissing my hand multiple times to express his gratitude and insisted on giving me a ride home.

This morning I noticed a man walking down the street pushing a cart in which he was throwing used glass and plastic bottles he found roaming through the local trash. Immediately I wondered just how much money one could make collecting cans and bottles and what happens if he doesn't make his daily quota. So I decided to bless him with 500 C, which is equal to $13 USD. As he took the money, he smiled and told me, "God bless you," but I noticed his stride changed, and now he even had a little pep in his step.

When I first met Manuel, a 13-year-old kid on the streets of Honduras. He was fidgeting, reluctant, and unaware of our language barrier, so with his right hand rubbing his belly and his left hand motioning towards his mouth, he asked for food. That day I was surprised he didn't buy anything for himself, only his family—how selfless. So I told God to send him back around again. My org paid for his family's rent, groceries (3 times), and clothes for Manuel.

This is Herson. He's 15 years old, almost 18 years old, and he can’t read or write. I don’t know who I should be angry at: the system, poverty, or the govt. Despite his magnitude of lack, not once has this broken his smile or ability to trust others. Today I took him to get a new haircut so he can feel as beautiful as he is as a person. You know people treat you differently when you look like you're going places!! Please help me do a complete makeoverfor him by purchasing new shoes, clothes, and food he desperately needs for his family so he doesn’t have to compromise his integrity at night!!

I spent my friday evening serving the unhoused of El Salvador pizza, soda, and the love of Christ!! I watched my God take what was in my hands and multiply the food in real time!! Originally only 50 people were supposed to be fed, but we managed to do (2) locations and feed 70 people!! Thank You to every person that gave to makethis possible !

Meet Edgar, a 62-year-old unhoused man. That has not allowed the harsh conditions of being unhoused to shape his heart! Not only is he integral, but those in his community speak well of him too! We were able to provide 8 days of temporary housing, food, clothes, shoes, undergarments, and medicine since we have been working with him.

I want to introduce you to Mahounda Elena Cabrera. For years she has struggled with a clubfoot that she has to drag around, including her walker. The orthopedic surgery to correct her foot only cost $200, but what may be a small amount to us is huge for Elena! T.A.G.
