Unbelievers have plenty of reasons for what they believe and why, whether their reasoning is biblical and logical or not. Veritas Christian Academy, in partnership with Faith Ascent, is excited to host nationally recognized Christian apologist, author, and speaker Greg Koukl on Thursday, September 17, at 6:30 p.m. As the founder and president of Stand to Reason, Greg is known for equipping Christians to think clearly, articulate their faith with confidence, and engage today’s cultural challenges with wisdom and grace.
Greg is passionate about training believers to engage in conversations about their faith by asking thoughtful questions rather than arguing. He encourages believers to “Be the kind of soldier who instills respect in others because of your courage under fire. Make your case in the presence of hostile witnesses. Throw your gauntlet into the arena and see what the other side has to say.” While instilling truth and conviction into the hearts of students, he also equips believers to “be on the offensive without being offensive.”
