St. Louis Shakespeare "Garage" Sale!

Saturday & Sunday, October 3 & 4
10am - 4pm
900 Cherokee at Broadway (across from the DeMenil Mansion)

After 45 years, our storage space is bursting at the seams, so we're having a sale - just in time for you to find that one-of-a-kind Halloween outfit!

- Costumes, costumes, costumes!
- Men's suits (60's - 80's) and shirts
- Wigs & masks
- Really random props
- Large area rugs (8' x 10')
- Enough fabric to slipcover the entire warehouse (not entirely kidding about that)
- And so much more!

Saturday and Sunday, October 3 & 4
10am - 4pm

UPDATE: Our credit card machine has kicked the bucket, shuffled off its mortal coil, rung down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-CREDIT CARD SWIPER.

Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre announces AUDITIONS for
Stranger Things: The Parody
Sunday, September 6
10am - 1pm
Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Hall in Soulard
816 Allen Avenue
Park in the fenced lot and follow the signs.

Please bring a resume and photo (if available)
Actors can do a prepared piece from any source (contemporary, classical, comic, dramatic - whatever!)

Rehearsals run Mon - Thurs evenings and Saturday mornings
Performances are in the Lee Theatre at Touhill Center at UMSL
Show dates are October 22 - 25
Thurs, Fri, Sat at 8pm
Sat, Sun at 2pm
All personnel are paid a stipend

We had a great turnout for Brady Bunch Parody auditions this past weekend. I have a few Zoom auditions today and tomorrow, but hope to have casting finalized within the next couple of days. Thank you to all who auditioned - and are about to audition! I appreciate your talent and your patience!

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

Rehearsals run Mon - Thurs 7pm - 10pm, Sat from 10am - 2pm
Performances July 30 - August 2, 2026
Thurs, Fri, Sat at 8pm
Sat, Sun at 2pm

All personnel are paid a stipend
