"I WILL ALWAY LOVE YOU" played by Jim Melchers on August 25, 2026, in honor of the late Dolly Parton.

Many mourn the passing of Dolly Parton yesterday at 80 years old. Her life was remarkable not just because she became famous, but because of how far she came, what she built, and how consistently she used her success to help other people. Her legacy extends well beyond country music.

"I Will Always Love You" is significant because Dolly wrote in herself in 1973, and it became one of the most famous songs ever recorded. Written as a farewell to her longtime professional partner, Porter Wagoner, as she was leaving his TV show to pursue her own career, it is about loving and respecting someone while recognizing it is time to separate ways.

Dolly, we will always love YOU.
