**CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS**

St Louis Quarantine Support has changed with the pandemic needs. We now consist of a small group of drivers delivering food to 130 families from 2 local food pantries. We are at capacity and are looking for drivers to join our group.

Drivers need to have their own car. City deliveries are every Monday from 10 to 12 only. County deliveries can be made any weekday from 9 to 2. If interested, please send us a message!

Hello! As summer rolls around Quarantine Support is still delivering food to those in need in and around St. Louis. As the school year ends, some of our great volunteers have had to go back home, or graduated and moved on.

There is still a ton of need in St. Louis, despite things opening up. We're excited to meet and work with some new volunteers that are interested in working with a group of neighbors who care about the well-being of others in the community.

We're especially in need of drivers who are willing to drive to all neighborhoods in the city, including neighborhoods on the Northside and in North County.

Yesterday 111 of our neighbors impacted by the pandemic received a whole month's worth of groceries. In two weeks we will deliver groceries to 156 more. This month 267 members of our community won't go hungry because people like you stepped up. For the past ten months hundreds of STLQS volunteers have worked together to feed thousands of our neighbors. The vaccine gives us hope, but we're not in the clear yet.

4-7 pm outside the Whole Foods in the CWE! We are accepting any non-perishable food items--stop by and say hi!

P.S. We are partnering with Street Medic Revolution, who will be tabling with us to collect PPE and winter clothing. If you have spare PPE or old winter gear, be sure to bring it with you!

St. Louis Quarantine Support is starting a food drive! Start saving non-perishable food items. You can drop them off at the following days/times.

As the coronavirus pandemic crisis deepens so does the need in our community. Direct food donations are needed to supplement our existing supply of food. Please help!

Also, if you know of a high traffic location where we could place one of our food collection containers, please message this page and we’ll get it set up.

These are some great pics from our last delivery! Volunteers delivered groceries to 75 people across the St. Louis región that are in need of food. We've been delivering food since the start of the Covid crisis, and we are still here assisting people who need help with groceries as the crisis unfolds.

We need volunteers! As people go back to work and school, volunteers can't do as much as they were doing before. If you'd like to help, please fill out this form and we'll get back to you about how to get involved.

Exciting news! After an interruption in food supply STLQS has found a new source of food for food deliveries. Jewish Family Services has offered to provide food for STLQS volunteers to deliver to people in need. We are very excited about finding a new source of groceries, and a new connection to a great organization.

This means we’ll be restarting food donation deliveries! We’ll need volunteers to deliver the groceries to the doors of those who have requested food. We’ll also need volunteers to help sort and prepare the donations for delivery at Jewish Family Services’ facility (while masked and socially distanced of course).

If you have already filled out a volunteer form, we’ll be reaching out soon to invite you to a training to make sure you’re familiar with the systems we use. If you haven’t already filled out a form, please do! We strive to have a rewarding volunteer experience and people are in need!

We couldn't accomplish anything without our volunteers!

As businesses re-open and people go back to work, we are in need of more volunteers!

We were overwhelmed by the massive amount of support the community showed when the city first locked down. There is still need, however.

We need volunteers to drive and pick up groceries, make phone calls, and communicate important messages to those that request groceries.

We're also looking for updated information. If you've already filled out the volunteer form, please fill it out again with updated information.

St. Louis Quarantine Support is in the community, supporting people who need to stay home to stay safe.

So far our 166 volunteers have made:
- 862 deliveries of food, prescriptions, and necessities
- 799 of those deliveries were donations
- the vast majority of the funds were raised from grassroots donors like you

We're seeing second spikes of Corona-virus across the country, making it even more important to support those that need to stay home.

We understand that for many, out of necessity, life has gone back to normal. We still, however, have a responsibility to enable those who need to stay home to do so.

For people with compromised immune systems, and others for whom exposure to this virus poses a big risk, a trip to the grocery store is still an experience fraught with danger.

We are still committed to helping people stay home and reduce their exposure to this virus. We can only do this with community support. Please consider donating so we can complete grocery delivery for over a hundred St. Louisans this week.

For every $14 you donate, we will be able to acquire and deliver a bag of high quality groceries to someone who needs them in St. Louis.

As businesses start to open and some in our region get back to their normal lives, please keep in mind that grocery shopping has changed from being a routine errand to a dangerous activity for many community members who rely on grocery deliveries from St. Louis Quarantine Support.

These are friends and neighbors that are trying to stay safe and do the right thing; they just need help.

We've encountered overwhelming financial need that existed before the pandemic. We're also dealing with the need the pandemic has created.

We do a variety of things to support people who need to stay home to protect their health. We shop for them, we raise money for them if they can't afford groceries, and we deliver pantry staples to them directly.

You can help. Our volunteers are out working hard getting food to those who need it. With your financial support we can help a lot more people than we already have. Any amount helps us get food to our community.
