What is the most important tool in any TNR situation?

A humane live trap.

Trapping community cats is serious work, and having the right equipment is critical.

The proper tools not only help keep the cats safe and reduce stress during trapping, but they also protect the humans dedicating their time and energy to helping them.

Our board members are active trappers throughout the community.

In addition to serving Full Circle, they regularly assist other organizations such as St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach whenever calls come in for trapping assistance, arranged appointments, or self-pay spay and neuter services.

Being able to access safe, reliable trapping equipment makes all the difference in these situations.

Because of the incredible support from our donors, we are able to continue this work.

We are deeply grateful to an anonymous donor who gifted us three brand-new Tomahawk 606 traps.

And through our donors support we were able to purchase 12 Tru Catch traps along with an additional transfer pinch cage.

Every trap represents more cats helped, more litters prevented, and more lives changed.

Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in and support this mission.

Your generosity directly impacts the cats and communities we serve every single day.

πŸ’œ Huge thanks to Petco Love for awarding Full Circle MO Feral an Access to Care Grant!

This support helps us provide affordable spay/neuter, vaccinations, and foster support for community cats in areas where access to care can be difficult to find. 🐾

Because of partnerships like this, we can provide more TNR support, medical care, supplies, and rescue assistance for cats and kittens who otherwise may have nowhere to turn.

We are incredibly grateful for your belief in this work and the impact it creates every single day. ✨

Cat distribution system is thriving.

A week ago, a dedicated feeder discovered a new cat in her colony, and by last Thursday, she noticed his eye was severely injured.

She successfully trapped him and brought him to our director, who scanned for a microchip.

The chip, purchased at Watson clinic, was unregistered, but the clinic provided contact information for Bob and Barbara.

We arranged a veterinary appointment, and the feeder investigated, discovering that Barbara, a passionate advocate, had sadly passed away.

Yet, her unwavering compassion and dedication to animal welfare continue to inspire us, guiding this resilient kitty to our care.

The vet updated his vaccinations, tested him for diseases, and unfortunately, had to remove his damaged eye.

Despite this, he's recovering remarkably, and our board member is caring for him until he moves to Rescue soon.

If you knew Barbara, when she was alive, please consider making a small donation in her honor to help cover the cost of this cat's medical care.

Attached are photos of his eye and the vet bill.

We have been doing a large scale TNR site in Jefferson County in a trailer park subdivision.

The trapper came across an older kitten, a distinct head tilt moving frantically around in circles.

We took it to the clinic where she was spayed and vaccinated and evaluated .

She needed to see a full service vet and the Full service vet revealed that the head tilt was either a congenital birth, defect or trauma.

The feeders on site say that her head tilt was just recent of an occurrence, so it will be assumed that she suffered some trauma.

Our volunteers are currently taking care of her while they look for licensed rescue placement and will no longer be outdoors

Your support during GIVESTLDAY
helps us to support more trappers networking friendly cats into licensed rescue

One of the hardest parts of kitten season is knowing that rescue alone does not solve the problem.

If kittens are pulled into rescue but mom is left behind unspayed, the cycle simply continues.

That’s why Full Circle MO Feral believes so strongly in practicing FULL CIRCLE TNR.

The goal is not only to save kittens already here β€”
but to prevent the next litter from being born outside.

So often, this work begins with a simple social media post, text message, or phone call:

β€œDoes anyone know who can help?”
β€œThere are kittens under my bush.”
β€œA mom cat had babies in my garage.”
β€œI found kittens outside and don’t know what to do.”

What starts as a request for help often turns into:

πŸ–€ kittens brought safely indoors
πŸ–€ mom trapped and protected
πŸ–€ vaccines, flea treatment, and deworming
πŸ–€ socialization, rescue preparation, and placement
πŸ–€ mom being spayed so this cycle finally ends

This work takes time.
It takes supplies.
It takes experienced volunteer trappers.
It takes transport, medical care, food, crates, litter, and rescue coordination.

And most of all, it takes people willing to care.

This year, we were not able to secure a Give STL Day matching sponsor, which means grassroots community support matters even more to us this season.

Every donation β€” no matter the size β€” helps us continue saying β€œyes” when the next call comes in.

Thank you for believing in prevention, compassion, and community. πŸ–€

The most important mission is practicing FULL CIRCLE TNR.

When the community encounters kittens just pulling the kittens for rescue and leaving mom will not end the cycle.

This mom and babies were posted on Nextdoor and a volunteer was able to access the site with these little kittens under a bush

Securing the kittens and using them as bait for mom …while the homeowner was confident there were only 4 kittens The trapper was concerned there was a fifth by the initial photo.

Thankfully, when mom returned back to the bush, the fifth baby by a miracle follow her into the trap

Kittens were fvrcp vaccinated along with flea and deworming
Held with mom for a week to make sure they all can eat food on their own.

Mom is at the clinic today getting spayed vaccinated and eartipped and will return to her community

The kittens will have 2 weeks of hands on socializing to make it for there intake date with liscensed rescue.
