🌟Our thespians took the Missouri Thespian Conference by storm this weekend! Our very own Lizzie Forget (12) was one of three to win the highly coveted Jared Neff Outstanding Technical Scholarship. Our Tech Challenge team placed in three different events and won first place overall! Carys Argueta (12) sang a solo for her performance Thespy, while Mikayla Woods (12) presented her “Emma!” costume design for her technical Thespy. Ollie Dennison (12), Cecilia Pursifull (10), and Sara Hershburger (11) performed a scene for their performance Thespy. Lizzie Forget (12) won a superior rating for her presentation about her stage management position in “Emma!”. Eve Trudeaux-Curtis (12) also earned a superior rating for the marketing of “Emma!”. Our improv team -Lola Bishara (12), Gertie McGroarty (10), Cecilia Pursifull (10), and Eve Trudeaux-Curtis (12)- competed in the Improv Competition and received an excellent rating! Additionally, Madeline Folkert (11) and Eve Trudeaux-Curtis (12) represented Viz by performing in the opening act. We had so much fun and learned a lot!! Until next year!🥇🎭💙
