💧 Clean Water Access in Lavaud, Haiti
We successfully brought water to the mountainous Lavaud community—once told by local government that it was impossible. With strong pressure systems now in place, we’re upgrading to larger pipes to ensure long-term reliability and access.

• 🇵🇰 Pakistan: We donated school supplies to 96 students through board member Din Salahud and local teachers.
• 🇩🇲 Dominica: Through our Education for All initiative, Dominican volunteers helped us distribute essential supplies to children in need.

📍 Local Outreach in Gressier & Ghanthier, Haiti
We’ve distributed school supplies in underserved areas such as Gressier and Ghanthier, where board member Keller Polynice helped deliver materials directly to children and their families.

🏫 School Renovations – Marie Reine de L’Univers, Lavaud
With help from Viala Colas and Brucelee Duverny, VHF supported roof repairs, new furniture, and school supply donations. This historic school continues to educate hundreds of children—and we’re honored to support its mission.

🧱 Shelter Construction Updates (2021–2022)
We’ve made progress building permanent homes for families in financial hardship—ensuring dignity, safety, and health for the most vulnerable.

🌋 Earthquake Relief – Haiti 2021
After the 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck southern Haiti, we mobilized food, medical aid, and emergency shelter—most notably aiding L’Asile Community Hospital, which collapsed.

📚 Additional School Support – La Gonâve, Haiti
In partnership with La Mission Evangelique de Grace, led by Pastor Jonas Jean Louis, VHF supports students in La Gonâve who face extreme poverty. The mission continues to educate children with little or no means to attend school.

VISION HELP FOUNDATION HISTORY

Vision Help Foundation founders Velly Duverny and Keller Polynice were inspired to assist disadvantaged communities when Velly’s father was critically ill. A native of Haiti, his father received treatment in the best private hospital in the region. But the facility was far short of the medical standards found in most developed countries.

“Up to 20 patients shared the same room. There was no running water and only minimal electricity. Rooms were filled with mosquitoes,” Velly said.

There were no trained technicians or tools to diagnose his father’s condition. Velly’s dad passed away a short time later.

In that moment, Velly decided to return to the US, start Vision Help Foundation, and bring better health, medical, education, and nutrition conditions to impoverished areas in the US, Haiti, and around the world.
