Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, Jason’s cremation expenses have been paid.
Tamitra is still currently struggling with groceries, bills, and preparing for the upcoming school year. Here are some ways to help, for those of you interested:
Gift cards for groceries and household goods
Donations of clothing, shoes, school supplies for kiddos
Monetary donations to be put toward bills
Monetary donations to be put toward having a memorial service for Jason

If anyone is interested in assisting with bills, I can get the information needed to pay directly.

Thank you, as always, for your support. Without this community, Tamitra and her children would have struggled so much more over the last 2 years. I’m really hoping that with a little extra support, we can help them get over this tough time and allow them to focus on celebrating Jason’s life ❤️

Dear friends,
I have received several messages about how to help Tamitra and her family during this difficult time, as there are many things that they could use assistance with.
Tamitra and her children are currently located in St. Louis, and will need to travel to Columbia in order to plan his final arrangements.

Assistance in the form of gift cards or donations for gas, funeral expenses, and household necessities such as groceries and bill assistance are welcomed and would be greatly appreciated during this time.

We do have a go fund me account set up, which I will provide if requested, however, these platforms do take a percentage of proceeds, so I don’t like to resort to them unless necessary. I can also provide a Cashapp or Venmo link to send donations to Tamitra directly.

As many of you may have heard, Jason has been found.
Although I desperately wish I could report otherwise, the circumstances were unfortunate.
On behalf of his family, we would like to thank all of you for your contributions and efforts in his search. Whether you took the time to see if you may recognize him, shared our posts, donated your time and money to assist, or supported his family in thought and prayer - you made a huge difference in the life of his wife and children.
Although Jason’s family is grateful for closure, there are still many unanswered questions, and I would ask that their privacy be respected at this time. Supportive words and encouragement and VERY much appreciated, however, Tamitra may wait to address any questions at a later time.
Again, thank you all very much for your support, and please keep Jason and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they begin to navigate this very difficult journey.

Jason wandered away from his home in Columbia Square Apartments after having a seizure on October 15, 2022. He is without his medication and is considered medically at risk.
