Great job Ryan!!!

Today Waterford Recreation and Parks were lucky enough to be a part of something special.
Ryan Kostopoulos presented his finished Eagle Scout Service Project to the Town of Waterford.
Through Ryans hard work the visitors to our town beaches now have a chance to "grab a toy, give a toy" for beach play. This wonderful young man certainly shows what's right in Waterford and demonstrates how a better Waterford can be built from the ground up!

We had a great meeting, in beautiful weather yesterday at Burrs Marina in New London. It was the dreaded Quarterdeck,but a necessity in keeping Sea Scouts youth led. If you have a youth aged 14 (or completed 8th grade) who is interested in sailing but has never sailed before now is the time to join us. We are doing building blocks the next month or so from just walking through the boats explaining what each item does, into what to do in an emergency to basic sailing ended with a competitive race between two boats. We meet Wednesday at 5pm Burrs Marina in New London.
