Connect to Uganda was started by a group of individuals who have a shared passion for serving the people of Uganda.

Our full day of kids' ministry activities during our visits is spent with the entire nursery and primary school in both Bubago and Orem. We love knowing every child gets to hear how much God loves them and how to be more like Him!

As students move towards the end of their school year, we would LOVE to find sponsors for four children. They've been to school before, but have been sent home due to their families not being able to pay their school fees. This is your chance to give them the opportunity they need and deserve!!

Eyecare is not something kids in rural Uganda often receive. Our staff noticed this young man was having headaches and we funded a visit to the eye doctor. The result was glasses that transition due to his strong reaction to bright light. We're thrilled that our emergency medical fund allows us to support this level of care and that his sponsor jumped in to fund his consultation and glasses!

The crested crane - the national bird of Uganda! Kids at Bubago Lutheran School recently learned about all the places that display this bird. We frequently see crested cranes on the drive to Bubago!

These students - they're the reason we host Cheers to Uganda! The impact of your generosity over the past 6 years is evident in the brighter future provided for each of them. Clean water, lunch every day, quality classrooms and teachers, and the knowledge that someone cares.

Make plans now to join us on Friday, November 13th - less than one month from today! Tickets are $75 each and include dinner, drinks, music, a silent auction and the opportunity to duplicate what we have accompished in Bubago in the village of Orem!

Some of the finishing touches of the second block of classrooms in Orem are taking place! It takes a lot of concrete and plaster to complete a project like this! We are excited about the change this will mean for the students at Orem Lutheran School in northern Uganda.

We are so proud of these four students! They have moved beyond primary school to secondary school and each of them is thriving. Secondary school is a lot to manage and for some, it's their first time boarding away from home. We are grateful for each of their sponsors who have stepped up to meet the increased financial requirements necessary to get to this level!

Becoming a Far Away Friend to a woman in Orem means changing her life - and giving her opportunities she has never had before. Just $20/month will give Rita and other women the chance to learn new skills and start a business that will generate income to help her support her family.

Rita and her husband have three children. They raise crops for food. She asks for prayers for her family to have good health and be prosperous.
