On Feb 21, 2026 ceremony was a very special one for NHGSTL. Everyone who had a role was either new or participated in a new role.
Diane G. was absolutely stellar reading (for the first time). Dawn 3 could not have done a better job with the triangle, Jane knew just what to do with the rose, and Linda V did a wonderful job with the lamp.
Thank you all for honoring this nurse in such a beautiful way—it was truly a blessing to her family.

This morning’s ceremony honored a 96-year-old nurse whose long career and life were filled with love and service. The ceremony went beautifully, and the family was deeply appreciative of our presence and the respect shown to their mother. So grateful for the members who stepped up at the last minute to ensure we had a strong, solid presence to pay tribute.

An amazing turnout tonight for this NHG tribute at Kutis in South County. This dear nurse was a colleague of two of our members, and it was truly a lovely and meaningful remembrance.
We were also so happy to have two of our newest members — who just received their capes this week — present to honor her with us. 💙

Thank you dear nurses!

 A special Tribute to a 56-year-old nurse who had requested that we be present at her funeral.  After seeing her grandfather neglected in a nursing home in the 1980s, it was in her heart to become a nurse. She started as a CNA and worked her way up to a masters in nursing eventually teaching geriatrics to nursing students. The family was so appreciative of our service. Great job everyone!!!❤️❤️
