SEPTEMBER CONSTRUCTION UPDATE ON THE Green House Venture CAMPUS! 🌱 🚧

More Progress on our NEW PURCELL FAMILY GHV EDUCATION CENTER as construction proceeds with Bush Construction!

Once completed, our Education Center is a two story framed building and greenhouse space in the Shaw neighborhood at the corner of DeTonty and Lawrence.

Totaling nearly 9,400 square feet with the basement and greenhouse, the building will feature classroom space, growth chambers, food processing, and a rooftop patio with planters to aid in educating elementary students on sustainability, bio-science, and urban agriculture through a hands on approach.

The state of the art audio visual system will allow for further outreach to schools outside of the
immediate area via live, virtual teaching or recorded lessons.

Did you know?

The GHV 3.5 acre campus includes a terrace garden on the embankment of highway I-44 in South City St. Louis.

This unique use of space allows our students to practice urban agriculture through our curriculum program. Most of the produce grown on our terrace garden is then donated back to our community.
