Morning Everyone!
We are still running short of funds to pay for all the decorated flower pots and light poles in the Louisiana business district. The total bill for materials and labor runs us over $1600 a year to get our business district decorated for the Holidays, As a community, whether you are a business or a resident, I know we all love the festive atmosphere this creates. It also attracts people to our community to shop and enjoy the beauty of the Season. Your financial help in this project is greatly appreciated. Any donation made will be recognized. Louisiana Community Betterment Assoc. is a 501 (c) 3 organization and we are happy to issue you a letter for tax donation purposes, if you will please let us know you would like one. Any amount of donation is appreciated. You can send your donation via Venmo. Just go to Venmo and look for Diana Huckstep to contribute that way. If you wish to mail a check, please send it to: LCBA, PO Box 72, Louisiana, MO 63353. Your support makes this project possible. Without it, our organization would not be able to decorate our town. Many thanks to everyone who has sent a donation and many thanks to all of you who will!
Wishing you all a very Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year!

Please see the attached communication from Viki Cadwallader with LCBA.

Hello all and hope you had a very merry Christmas and wishes for a very blessed new year!

I’m requesting a little bit of additional help…

I’m getting ready to post a thank you for those who have already contributed as sponsors for the lovely downtown greenery and bows placed for the Christmas season.

We had a number of generous sponsors, BUT I (working through Louisiana Community Betterment) am still in need of about $250 more in sponsorship $ because we ended up purchasing some extra greenery and bows to do additional poles.

If you feel led to contribute, absolutely any amount would be appreciated …. from $5 to $100! You can reply to this email or you can message me on Facebook or text me at 573-247-4500. If you would like to mail a check, please address it to LCBA and mail to: PO Box 72, Louisiana, MO 63353. You can also send a contribution via Venmo. Look for Diana Huckstep .

Anyone who contributes, I will add your name to the thank you list. Also, if you would like a letter from community betterment, so you can use it in your tax write off be sure to let me know.

Thanks in advance!!

P.S. You can be recognized from your business name, your personal name, and you can also have it be in memory of a loved one or in honor of someone you would like to recognize in the community.

On behalf of Viki Cadwallader
Thank you,

P.S. This is a wonderful touch to our downtown area, Thank you to all who make this possible.
