💙 SEA extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, classmates, and educators who had the wonderful honor of being a part of Pierre Bel’s life.

Pierre was not only kind and gentle; he was an example of what a young man truly should be. His character, compassion, and the way he treated others left an impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Pierre was proof that it is not the color of one’s skin, but the content of one’s character, that makes all the difference. His life reminded us of the goodness, dignity, and humanity we should strive to see in one another.

May his memory continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. 🕊️💙

Rest in peace, Pierre. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Our communities need people who are willing to step forward—not remain silent. We may come from different backgrounds, have different beliefs, and walk different paths, but we can still come together with one shared message:

I was a child, I learned a rule that many people seem to have forgotten today. That rule said, It is not what you do that really matters. It’s how you do it that makes the difference, because you can be right and still fail to do it the right way, and you’re good, but evil is spoken of.

Being a teacher is more than a job. It’s more than a career. It is purpose. It is a mission. It is the ability to see the potential in every child’s eyes while facing the reality of where they are right now. It is the ability to take a lick in from those who do not understand how difficult the job is. It is never giving up, never giving in.
