Wreaths Across America done at The Missouri Veterans Cemetary in Springfield. Three Springfield Chapter #84 Sojourners got out and honored our Brothers and Sisters in 30° temps.

Small but mighty. Springfield Chapter 84 of the National Sojourners ventured to MtVernon Mo to the Veterans Home. We visited and met many heros from WW2 and on. We also visited with a Korean War veteran who looked like he was in his early 70s and not 93. In our rounds we found one Brother Freemsaon. Great Day.

Brothers and Friends,

This is a reminder that at 10am this Saturday we are meeting at the Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon Missouri to visit and hand out items to the residents. Please bring snacks that are individually packaged such as microwave popcorn, individual candy, small bags of chips and small packages of cookies.

The plan is to also meet Freemasons and if possible sign them up with the Masonic Home. If you are a rep please be prepared to do so. I would love to come back later and present them with a Masonic flag.

Brothers please remember we are not just an organization that meets every few months to have a meal and pat ourselves on the back. We should be our Brothers keeper and get out to spread the word of masonry and help our fellow Masonic and Veteran Brothers and Sisters.

Our Chapter President and Heroes Commander were present at the installation of officers for Success Chapter #87 Order of the Eastern Star and gave the toast to the flag tonight. Way to represent!
