Calling all area Scientists:
Kavli Scholars: Nominations Open Now

The Kavli Scholars program provides flexible funding to exceptional scientists whose research has been disrupted by unexpected challenges, helping them continue their work in astrophysics, nanoscience, neuroscience or theoretical physics. It is our hope that this funding will support scientists around the world to continue their critical work in the face of disruption.

We invite Kavli-affiliated individuals, such as members of Kavli Institutes, Kavli Prize Laureates or currently funded grant recipients, to nominate scientists for the Kavli Scholars program. Selected Kavli Scholars will receive funding for up to two years.

The Kavli Scholar nomination phase for awards to be announced in early 2027 is open now through Dec. 15, 2026. Please review criteria carefully if you are interested in nominating or being nominated.

Brewer Science will be presenting new work on high-temperature-stable materials for advanced packaging at IMAPS in Boston on September 30, 2026.
Xin Li will present our latest laser-release material for temporary bonding/debonding, engineered to maintain structural integrity through processing temperatures up to 350°C, addressing a real constraint as packaging moves toward denser 3D architectures.
Dr. Dan Sullivan joins a panel discussion on supply chain shortages driven by growth in the AI era.

Join us Friday, October 2 at 7:30am for the Fellows Farewell Fall Fiesta! We are planning an extra special Monthly Meeting on the dock to celebrate our sixth and final season operating Fellows Lake LLC. We will continue the tradition of a Chautauqua-style meeting, which means the meeting is YOU! Bring an update, a story, or some kind words to share in the morning air.

Here are some things we have planned to make this an extra special meeting:

We'll be serving up biscuits and gravy and pancakes!
Coffee and hot c***r
FREE paddle craft rental after the meeting, and/or a morning boat ride

Bring a camp chair if you would, please, but we will also have some extras. The National Weather Service will provide a quarterly update. If it is rainy/stormy, we will pivot to the pavilion by the Hatch Playground.
