We are incredibly honored and grateful to share that Why Not Mindset has been selected as a featured nonprofit by PIFster - Pay It Forward Charity for an upcoming voting cycle!

This is an exciting opportunity to introduce our mission to an entirely new community of people who believe in making a difference through everyday generosity.

At Why Not Mindset, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity for a second chance. Every day, we work to help individuals navigate the critical first 90 days after incarceration by providing practical support, mentorship, encouragement, and hope.

We want to sincerely thank the entire PIFster team for believing in our mission and giving us the opportunity to be part of their incredible platform. We are looking forward to working together and sharing the impact that can be made when communities come together to support lasting change.

Thank you, PIFster - Pay It Forward Charity, for shining a light on organizations making a difference in their communities. We are honored to be part of the journey.

Every time someone supports Why Not Mindset, they are doing more than giving money or buying a shirt.

They are helping create space for a conversation that could change a life.

They are helping someone feel seen.
They are helping this mission keep showing up.
They are helping us say, “Your past is real, but it is not the end of your story.”

That matters.

If you have ever worn the message, shared the page, prayed for the work, volunteered, donated, or simply told someone about Why Not Mindset, thank you.

Support comes in a lot of forms, and every one of them helps move the mission forward.

Why Not Mindset was never meant to be just a program.

It is a movement of people willing to step closer.

Closer to the ones rebuilding.
Closer to families trying to heal.
Closer to communities that need real support, not just good intentions.

Our mission is simple, but it takes all of us: help people develop the mindset, support, and direction they need to move forward.

That means partnerships matter.

Churches. Businesses. Community leaders. Volunteers. Families. People who understand that when one life gets stronger, the whole community feels it.

We are not here to do this alone. We are here to build something that lasts.

Some of the most powerful moments we see will never be posted.

Not because they do not matter.

Because they matter too much.

A participant sits down and says, “I am tired of doing it the old way.”
A goal gets written down.
A hard conversation happens.
A man or woman begins to believe that change is possible again.

That is impact.

It may not always look loud from the outside, but when someone starts choosing responsibility, healing, faith, family, work, and purpose, everything around them begins to shift.

We protect people’s privacy because their story belongs to them. But we can tell you this:

Lives are changing.

We've learned this the hard way, rock bottom can be the foundation for something greater than you ever imagined. If I can change, so can you.

You're not defined by your worst decision.
You're defined by what you do next.

There's hope. There's help. And there's a whole community ready to walk with you.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of American independence.

The Fourth of July is more than fireworks lighting up the sky or the smell of burgers on the grill. It is a day to pause and remember the courage of those who believed that freedom was worth fighting for and the sacrifices made by generations who followed to protect it.

Freedom is a gift that has never been free. It has been earned through sacrifice, defended by brave men and women in uniform, and preserved by ordinary Americans who have chosen to stand for the ideals this nation was founded upon.

Today, may we celebrate with grateful hearts, cherish the time spent with family and friends, and remember those who made it possible for us to enjoy the liberties we often take for granted.

As we mark America's 250th Independence Day, may we never lose sight of the values that unite us: freedom, courage, resilience, and hope.

Wishing everyone a safe, meaningful, and Happy Fourth of July.

God Bless America. 🇺🇸

Today is a milestone that means more to me than I can put into words.

What started as a vision has grown into something real, and today I'm proud to officially welcome you to Why Not Mindset's new online home.

www.whynotmindset.org

This isn't just a website. It's a place where you can learn who we are, why we do what we do, meet our incredible team, explore our mission, find ways to get involved, and see what we're building together.

While you're there, I'd love for you to visit our brand new store, Wear the Mission. Every purchase helps support the work we're doing and helps spread a message of hope, redemption, accountability, and second chances.

Here's my challenge...

Go explore the website. Click around. Read our story. Meet the team. Visit Wear the Mission. Then come back here and tell me your favorite part. Your feedback means the world because this wasn't built for me, it was built for all of us.

If you believe in second chances, please share this post. You never know who might need to discover Why Not Mindset today.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in this vision from the beginning. This is another milestone, but it's far from the finish line.

The best is still ahead.
