Meet Gunner 💙

This curious, adventure-loving 4-year-old from Reeds Spring sees the world a little differently—and that’s what makes him so special. From exploring the outdoors to collecting rocks and treasures, Gunner is always on the move. And when he’s inside? You’ll find him deep in dinosaur play, especially with his favorite, the mighty T. rex 🦖

But Gunner’s curiosity also comes with real challenges. He has autism and requires substantial support, and his determination has made him quite the escape artist. Gates, barriers—you name it, Gunner has figured it out.

Right now, he’s still sleeping in a crib… but he’s growing fast and loves to climb, making it unsafe. Living near a busy highway adds an even greater level of concern. To keep him safe, his mom sleeps on the couch every night just to monitor him. Even then, Gunner continues to find ways to explore.

That’s why we’re raising funds for a zPod safety bed—a specialized, secure bed that will give Gunner a safe place to sleep while giving his family the peace of mind they desperately need.

💜Now Fundraising for Grace 💜

Meet Grace — a joyful, resilient 3-year-old from Nixa, MO whose light shines brighter than the challenges she faces. Diagnosed at just 7 months old with Wiedemann–Steiner syndrome, Grace navigates complex medical needs with incredible strength every single day.

She loves books, family outings, splashing in the water, and dreaming of beach days. She also has a special connection to Daniel Tiger, experiencing it in her own beautiful way. Grace is always watching, always learning, and always showing the world her quiet, powerful spirit.

But behind her sweet smile are real challenges. Grace relies on a G-tube for continuous feeds, experiences seizures, sleep apnea, and has a Level 3 autism diagnosis. She is non-verbal and requires constant overnight monitoring due to insomnia and sensory needs.

Right now, she sleeps in a crib with a zip-up enclosure—but as she grows, it’s no longer safe. She is at risk for falls, entanglement with medical equipment, and injury.

✨ A Cubby Bed would change everything.
It would give Grace a safe, secure sleep space designed for her needs—while allowing her caregivers to monitor her, manage her equipment, and respond quickly through the night. More than that, it would bring peace, rest, and reassurance to her entire family.

Grace has been a fighter since day one—welcomed into her family from the NICU at just 4 weeks old and adopted just before her second birthday. Her journey is filled with love, determination, and hope.
