Did you know that The Victim Center offers free support groups and healing classes for victims and their loved ones?

From art therapy and support groups to classes designed to help parents and caregivers understand trauma and its impact. We provide safe spaces for learning, healing, and connection, all at no cost and with a trauma-informed approach.

We will soon begin a six-week art therapy class. If you are interested in joining, please call 417-863-7273 for more information or to sign up.

This school year, our Prevention Educator Brittany helped bring prevention education, support, and hope to thousands of students across our community. ❤️

Because of her incredibly hard work and heart for this mission, we reached 12,689 students through 620 presentations across 6 counties.

We are so grateful for the care, energy, and compassion she brings to this work every single day. Thank you, Brittany, for helping young people feel seen, heard, and supported!

Yesterday, Annie celebrated her 4th birthday, and we couldn’t let the day pass without giving her a little extra love. 🐾🎂

Annie brings comfort, joy, and plenty of smiles not only to the people who come through our doors for services but also to our staff. She has a special way of brightening even the hardest days.

We are incredibly grateful for Annie and her trainer, Lisa, who consistently bring care, comfort, and happiness to The Victim Center community.❤️
