Maggie: “So, if you and Ruth already know you want to give, why do it before Sharathon even begins?”
Johnnie: “Because an early gift helps The Sound of Home walk into Sharathon with a strong start instead of starting at zero.”
Maggie: “Does giving early really make that much difference?”
Johnnie: “It does. Every early gift says, ‘I believe in this ministry, and I’m ready to help carry it forward.’ That encourages the station team, and it can encourage someone else to join in, too.”
Maggie: “So, it builds a little momentum?”
Ruth: “Exactly. And the more support that’s already in place, the more Sharathon can feel like a celebration of what God is doing instead of simply trying to reach a number.”
Maggie: “And there’s a giveaway, too?”
Ruth: “There is! A generous sponsor is providing a Gaither Homecoming Christmas Weekend Getaway, airfare for two, three hotel nights, concert tickets and a gift card for incidentals. When you give early, you’re automatically entered.”
Maggie: “So, the sponsor provides the trip, and my gift supports the ministry?”
Johnnie: “You’ve got it. Your gift helps The Sound of Home keep sharing encouragement, good news and the hope of Jesus.”
Maggie: “Well then, hand me that tablet. Let’s help Sharathon start strong.”
