We were pleased to hold our volunteer recognition and blessing of the hands ceremony on Sunday. Collectively, our volunteers have dedicated approximately 766 hours to honoring fellow nurses who have passed away, contributing significantly to the community. Today, we commence National Nurses Week, which will conclude on May 12th, marking Florence Nightingale's birthday. We invite those who know of a nurse who deserves a tribute to reach out to us. We request the honor of recognizing a nurse who has passed away within the last year at our annual event on Sunday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm at the Rochester Village Hall - 1 Community Drive Rochester ,IL.
If you would like to pay tribute to a nurse, please let us know. The community is invited to learn about the Nurse Honor Guard and participate in the blessing of the hands ceremony for area nurses, followed by a light reception.
