My name is Ruby. I was found roaming by myself when a nice young found me and took me home. No one ever asked about or posted me as lost so I am in the market for a new family. A really awesome thing for me is that my foster mom is a dog trainer!! She is helping me learn so many things. I even get to keep coming once I find my new family. She tells you all about me below...

Meet lil Ruby! She’s a 6 month old hound mix. She was a stray so a little shy, with the help of her foster brother and sisters she’s learning how fun the “dog life” can be. She’s good with cats, other dogs, more gentle play but I think with time and she learns dog play better, she could be ok with more rougher playing dogs. Shes doing great on her potty training, catching on very quickly! Ruby is a calmer puppy. She loved meeting the staff at McClure vet clinic. Did great with her shots and HW test.
She will need a home with older kids, over 10 and would do better with another dog in the home, she needs a confident K9 companion to help her gain confidence. The adopters need to be willing to continue her confidence training with the foster.

Quill is amazing!

This sweet little guy is still a puppy and already stealing hearts. Quill is a Basset Hound / Labrador mix—which means he’s got the best of both worlds: short and squishy with the biggest personality.

Quill is all about fun! He loves to:
Carry his ball everywhere and play fetch
Tug on a rope toy like it’s his job
Soak up love from every human he meets
Quill seems fine with other dogs.He’s still learning, but he’s eager to please and just wants to be part of the action.
Quill’s dream home would have a fenced-in yard so he can run, play, and show off his goofy puppy zoomies.

🚨 Fosters Urgently Needed OR Rescue transfer🚨

These sweet dogs are currently in the pound and need fosters ASAP to give them a chance. All are males except for one female.

🐾 The female mastiff mix and a white-faced senior male both have skin issues and will need medicated baths. Despite that, they are very kind, gentle dogs who just need a little extra care and love.

🐾 The speckled pup is a young male puppy with his whole life ahead of him.

🐾 The tan male is at the greatest risk and may have a euthanasia date as soon as next week.

The dark red/brown dog is male and desperately needs a chance.

These dogs deserve safety, comfort, and a chance at a better life. Fostering saves lives—please step up if you can, or share to help them find help in time.

Meet Corky – the snugglebug with a big personality! ?? If not for his coloring he could pass for a purebred Boston. He even has the curly tail!
This three-year-old(ish) Boston Terrier mix is all about lap life ?. If you’ve ever dreamed of a loyal shadow who thinks your lap is the best seat in the house, Corky is your guy. He’s as sweet as they come and is mostly potty trained.
Like any young dog, Corky has his quirks. He’d prefer to be the one and only dog in your home (especially when it comes to sharing toys ?), and he’s still figuring out the whole “manners” thing. We’re not sure how he feels about cats and he’s best suited for a home without small kiddos.
But here’s what we do know: if you give Corky love, patience, and a cozy lap, he’ll give you loyalty, snuggles, and endless laughs.

Hi hi hi! I'm a 1 year old heeler mix named Brenda and I'm looking for my furever family. I was in dog jail for quite a long time waiting for someone to be able to spring me. My foster mom was finally able to and I repay her every day with puppy hugs and slobber kisses. I really love to run to get my energy out, so a fenced yard is a MUST.

I love and NEED toys, especially rubber balls and ones with treats in them. I get along with all people and animals. Honestly I've never met a stranger in my whole life, although I'm a little nervous of men (only at first). I'm 25-30lbs and love super close snuggles. I'm potty trained (no accidents), crate trained, spayed, and totally vetted. I can't wait to meet you so fill out the app and make that happen.

Mia is a 6-year-old 29 lb Corgi mix. Maybe some red heeler in there? She starts off fearful, but then instantly gives affection! She absolutely loves children, but she's a little tank, so small children could definitely be knocked over! She is potty trained and crate trained, and has puppy energy! She will require a canine sibling that is her energy level and size. Larger dogs tend to scare her and dogs who are too small could be harmed by her. I have no idea how she does with cats. She is a little bit of a resource guarder, so I feed her in a covered crate, which she will willingly get in on her own. She always wants to be with people, so a fenced-in yard may not be required so long as she is never let off leash. She may be a great running buddy!

Introducing Chumlee! This 2 year old, 20lb Chi mix came from a hoarding situation and is now looking for a person to call his own. He is a very soft soul who is still learning how to trust and be a dog. He loves other dogs his size and will definitely need another dog in the home to continue to show him the ropes. Since he is still very shy, his perfect home would be a quiet home. He has blossomed in his foster home, even jumping onto the couch and giving a paw when he’s looking for cuddles ? He would make an amazing companion for a patient loving human and a fun friend for a pup his size.

My name is Max. I was found roaming the streets along with my sibling and what was presumed to be our mom. I spent some time in dog jail and no one came for us. I was able to leave because of my awesome foster mom said she would take both of us. I lucked out. Look what she says about me.....

Max is a seven-month-old, 40-pound terrier mix with a pending DNA test that will likely reveal he's a master of snuggles. He's a total pushover and gets along swimmingly with bigger dogs and every human who's crossed the threshold, including the tiny tornados known as kids aged 8-14. In fact, my grandson loves having Milo snuggle up in his bed overnight, and honestly, who wouldn't? He's crate trained, sits on command, and takes treats like a gentleman - no nipping here. The only thing he's not mastered is house training, but puppy classes in January will whip him into shape. Oh, and he's a bit of a feline fanatic, ignoring cats until they make a break for it, then turning into a furry little sprinter.
