What a great Membership Meeting! Thank you to all that were able to attend. Daphne Hawke, Superintendent of the Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing, provided a wealth of knowledge.

Daphne was very impressed by the amount of realtors from our membership that showed up yesterday.

This part-time position offers amazing flexibility by requiring approximately 30 hours per week.

The AE supports day-to-day operations, collaborates with the Board of Directors, and assists with member engagement, professional standards, and basic administrative functions. Some evening events and limited travel will be required. Competitive salary offered based on qualifications.

Dear Membership,

The Board of Directors wishes to share that Amanda has notified us of her decision to resign as Association Executive Officer effective February 5.

We are deeply grateful for Amanda’s leadership and service to the organization. Her commitment and vision has made a lasting impact, and we thank her for the professionalism and care she has shown throughout her tenure.

1. An additional $100 late fee will be assessed on February 1
2. Failure to pay by February 15, will result in the immediate termination of MLS access.

We're pleased to offer a CE class taught by state-certified instructor, Noreen Morris, on understanding and using the State Contract. This educational session will help members become familiar with the contract's provisions, structure, and practical application.

Major Victory: Property Tax Relief Measures Become Law

In a major victory for homeowners and REALTORS® across the state, Governor Mike DeWine has signed a sweeping package of property tax reform legislation passed by the Ohio General Assembly. The four-bill package delivers more than $3 billion in estimated tax relief and puts long-overdue guardrails on the automatic property tax increases that have strained Ohio families and communities.

The new laws cap unvoted tax growth, fix long-standing problems with the 20-mill floor, and strengthen levy oversight and transparency. Beginning with 2026 tax bills, Ohioans can expect more predictable and fair property taxes.

This outcome reflects more than a year of sustained advocacy by Ohio REALTORS®, including testimony, grassroots engagement, and continued pressure after earlier reforms were vetoed. With the Governor’s signature, these protections are now law and homeowners across Ohio will feel the impact this year. Read more about these bills here.
