ICARE Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program The IL LTCOP is authorized by and acts in accordance with the federal Older Americans Act and the Illinois Act on Aging.

Our mission is to protect and improve the quality of care and quality of life for residents in long-term care facilities through individual and systemic advocacy for and on behalf of residents.
