In the rescue world, there is a lot of behind the scenes that people don't see. We don't always get to post it or it is hard to even think about. There are some days that are just continuously beating us down. Emergency after emergency after emergency. Today was one of those days.

We were contacted by Round Valley Animal Control about a young frightened kitty that was stuck in an engine and needed medical attention ASAP. You weigh and measure, what can we do? What can we afford? Can we actually help this Kitty? We rushed her to Pine-top in hopes that we would be able to just have to amputate the degloved leg that was dangling. After time, sedation and x-rays, the outcome was poor. This little baby under a year with jet black beautiful hair had a broken spine. We unfortunately, had to say goodbye to this beautiful child. No more pain and fear.

We wanted to remind everyone that hitting the car hood and honking is extremely important, even in days where we don't think it's that cold. This sweet soul will rest in peace. Her name is now Jet. Every pet deserves a painless death, a name and to be loved.

Our Gorgeous playful, spunky Siren is still waiting to be adopted. She gave us a scare when she got spayed and is all healed up. She does prefer to be the center of attention and best being the only pet. She loves people, treats, car rides and walks decent on the leash. She does love to talk and play a lot. She is about 5 years old a beautiful 😍 🐾

Yay!!!🎉🐾🐶🐱

I'm excited to share that I have partnered with my local Animal shelter - Round Valley Animal Rescue to help raise funds to support the animals they care for while helping them find homes.
They are a no-kill shelter for cats and dogs, a non-profit organization that runs on the support of fundraisers, events, a thrift store and donations.
