WOW! Night to Shine 2026 was one for the books!
For the past 6 years, Night to Shine has been one of our favorite nights of the year - celebrating tens of thousands of honored guests, God's image-bearers, on one unforgettable night worldwide!
Today, we are in awe of what an incredible night it was - the biggest Night to Shine yet!
Red carpets were rolled out at 979 churches across 76 countries - where more honored guests than ever before were celebrated, loved on, and crowned as Kings and Queens - true royalty in God's kingdom! Praise God!
We are already looking forward to Night to Shine 2027, but before we turn the page, we want to thank all of our donors, vendors, and volunteers!
The Pastors at Big House Church & Houston Northwest Church have a special message for you. If you don't have a home church, we would like to encourage you to visit either of these locations!

I smiled until my face hurt. Night to Shine was an explosion of joy that filled every inch of our campus. For one unforgettable evening, friends from the special needs community and their caregivers gathered at HNW to celebrate the life and greatness we see in one another. We danced, sang karaoke, laughed uncontrollably, walked the red carpet, and crowned every guest a King or Queen. Caregivers were able to relax and enjoy the night while volunteer buddies walked alongside those they care for. In a world filled with cheap hits of dopamine from staring at our phones, Night to Shine offered something far better—real, lasting joy. I want to thank every King and Queen who graced the red carpet, every caregiver who made it possible for them to attend, and every volunteer who made the night so special. It was a true and complete success.
Senior Pastor Ty VanHorn ~ Big House Church
What happened at Night to Shine was more than an event. It was the gospel on display. To our friends at HNW, thank you. Your partnership, generosity, and heart made an unforgettable night possible. And to every volunteer who showed up early, stayed late, danced hard, served joyfully, and treated every honored guest like royalty, thank you. Night to Shine is beautiful because it reflects the heart of Jesus. No favoritism. No preferred seating. No ranking of worth. Just love. Just dignity. Just celebration. As we continue our study in the book of James at Big House Church, we are reminded that this is exactly what faith looks like: Faith is not something we claim. It's something people experience. Friday night, our honored guests experienced. All were seen, valued, and celebrated. That's the heartbeat of the gospel. If you don't currently have a church, we would love to invite you to BHC! Thank you again for lighting up Houston with us. Let's keep living it.
You are loved,
Pastor Ty
