Hope. Worth. Friendship. Our after school program gives Kindergarten-12th graders a fun, safe place to hang out after school.

This program is very well staffed, and provides students with opportunities to advance in their studies, life skills, communication skills, and self-worth.

Upcoming 6th graders to graduated seniors, check out our summer YTH group schedule!!

Starting on June 10th, summer YTH group kicks off as we get in the van to travel to different locations every week.
Arrive at Old Gregg School a bit before 6:30pm and pick will be at 8:30pm. We invite all rising 6th graders to recent graduates to join us at YTH group for fun games, worship, and time to grow in your faith with God. Summer YTH Group continues every Wednesday til July 29th.

Locations will be communicated each week. Check your email and our socials for all information about Summer YTH Group.

The Amazing Race

For our last 6-12 After School Program, students raced against each other all over Spring Mills to complete various tasks to be crowned the winners of our Amazing Race. They had to work together to overcome obstacles and challenges that encouraged a greater sense of team work.
What a great way to end this school year! We laughed, served our community, went on great adventures, and grew as a PVYC family. Students got to experience hope, worth, and friendship that will impact their lives for years to come. We couldn’t do it without our great staff and volunteers that pour their hearts out to this community.
We are honored and grateful for what we get to do each and every day. Looking forward to how God will move through the PVYC this summer!

K5 Field Trip

We had the opportunity to take our K5 students to Discovery Space. This came about through our partnership during the school year by inviting them to come coordinate our STEM time every other week during our programming on Fridays.
Students had free reign to explore their facility to learn about weather, nature, musical instruments, and many other activities that captured their attention for learning. We are grateful for every opportunity to help students grow in their academics.

Thank you for supporting PVYC. So much has happened in May, so here are some highlights of our favorites. We hope it encourages and inspires you as we look at how PVYC is impacting students in Penns Valley.

Celebration of God’s Provision
Every spring we gather together for Centre Gives to raise funds for PVYC and celebrate all that God has done through the youth center. We appreciate each person who gave during this time to help us raise over $40,000. You are a part of making the Penns Valley Youth Center a beacon of hope, worth, and friendship to students and families across our community!

Final week of programming for the school year. Today will be 90 degrees! That calls for some creek swimming after school! Come hang out! Wednesday we are eating dinner early so we have time for our Amazing Race! Who’s on your team? See you Thursday at the High School! And for K5 parent/student party don’t miss it! There will be a snow cone truck!!!

Thank you for your support!
We are overwhelmed by our PVYC community that came out to invest in students either at our Centre Gives pizza event last Wednesday at Old Gregg School or went online through Centre Give’s website.

We raised just over $40,000 to support the programming, events and activities that PVYC offers to students and families in our community.

Thank you for stepping up to be that “someone” investing in the lives of students and families through PVYC. This puts us in a great position to continue impacting the lives here in Penns Valley as we move from this school year to the next.
