💔 ZERO APPLICATIONS FOR REBEL. NOT ONE.
At 7 years old, Rebel isn’t interested in auditioning for the role of “wild and crazy Husky.” He’d like to apply for something a little more distinguished:
Professional companion. Leisurely-walk enthusiast. Grass-rolling expert. Household supervisor. ❤️
Rebel is a 65 lb Husky mix in Chesnee, SC, searching for an adult-only home where life moves at his preferred speed: pleasantly uneventful.

And frankly? The man has standards. 😂
🐾 House trained
🏡 Trustworthy home alone without a crate
🦮 Excellent on leash
😴 Low energy
🐱 Good with cats & farm animals
🐶 Can live with a calm dog after slow introductions
🌳 No fenced yard required
🚫 No children
Rebel isn't going to campaign for your affection.
He studies people first. He generally connects more quickly with men and can take longer to become comfortable with women. But give him patience, predictability and respectful handling, and you'll discover an affectionate dog whose loyalty means something because he doesn't hand it out indiscriminately.
Rebel also communicates clearly. If a person or animal gets too close when he's uncomfortable, he may growl to ask for space. His ideal adopter understands canine body language and can provide calm, confident guidance without ignoring those boundaries.
He's not looking for a house full of activity. Small, frantic dogs are definitely not on his retirement agenda. 😂
What WOULD make Rebel happy?
A peaceful home. A good walk. Sunshine. A patch of grass. A person he trusts. A life where he finally knows exactly where he'll wake up tomorrow.
There is nothing flashy about what Rebel wants.
That's what makes it so heartbreaking that he hasn't received a SINGLE application.
Surely there's someone out there looking for a good senior gentleman instead of a puppy.
