BE THERE FOR THE FALL UNIVERSITY OF CUB SCOUTING!
November 7, 2026, Northern Star Base Camp, Fort Snelling, MN
Join us for the University of Cub Scouting, a one-day, fun-filled, hands-on opportunity to network and learn with other Scouters, at Northern Star Base Camp in the Teambuilding Center, 6202 Bloomington Road in Fort Snelling on Saturday, November 7, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This supplemental training event was created just for Cub Scout leaders. New Cub Scout Leaders are especially invited to receive training and orienation, plus position-trained Cub Scout Adult Leaders who wish to improve their Scouting knowledge and skills. Parents and guardians who are not currently in leadership positions will find the day beneficial as well.
New Leaders can take Cubmaster and Assistant Cubmaster Training, Den Leader Training, or Committee Member Training. In addition, there will be a number of NEW courses to choose from, too:
o Introduction to Family Camping - yerts/cabins/ many point, camping gear for non campers.
o Scouting Through The Summer.
o Make Scouting Fun for Parents Too.
o Cub Scout Pack Succession Planning.
o Pizzazz Toolkit for Pack Meetings and Cubmasters.
o Keeping Scouting Fun with Activities and Awards Cubs Can Earn.
o Recognition for Leaders and Adults in the Pack.
o Oh Crud!! I have 5 minutes to put together a meeting! What do I do?
o Cubmaster's Forum.
o Geocaching with Cubs.
o Cub Scout Crazy - the Secret Ingredient to Raise Every Event to an 11.
We recommend you register early as some courses will fill quickly.

BRING YOUR CHILDREN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 6 FOR DAY CAMP!
All Adults and Youth attending must bring their own lunch.
COST for this event is:
$15.00 per Adult Leader/Parent before October 30.
$20.00 per Adult Leader/Parent as of October 31.
$20.00 per Day Camp Youth before October 30.
$25.00 per Day Camp Youth as of October 31.
PARKING IS FREE for this event.
