Alright yall! I have a great group of dogs looking for homes!
Holly- She is a 2yo Hound mix. She was adopted from a shelter less than a year ago and owner was unable to keep her soon after. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She has one of the best personalities. A very bubbly girl and ADORES everyone. She has a great recall and gets along with the pack. With supervision like any other dog she is good around cats and horses. she just likes to run with things and stops when they do. She’s overall an easy girl and would thrive anywhere however she is always down for adventures.
Trauma- She is a 2yo sable German Shepherd. She is an uncomplicated girl. Not a mean bone in her body. She gets along with all dogs and with proper introductions she warms up to people easily. She is crate and potty trained. She has a bubbly personality and loves to be around her pack. I do recommend she go to a home with experienced dog owners as I want her set up for success and without a firmer hand she will try to get away with things 😅 She is not cat friendly. I have done her bloodwork and vaccines for you she will just need spayed if taken before her appointment. Overall I’m secretly hoping she doesn’t go but I’d love to see her in a home of her own! If you’ve never owned the breed or close to it do not reach out she isn’t the dog for you. She needs someone that won’t be scared of her!!!
Bowie- He is a 1yo Pit mix. I found him as a stray a few months ago. Despite posting everywhere no one claimed him. He is currently enrolled with PCAS so he will come neutered and UTD on vaccines. He is the biggest lover and gets along with the pack well. He has a good recall and does well on a leash. He is crate and potty trained.
Kahlua- Kahlúa is a 2yo Belgian Malinois. She has been returned to me again for being “too high energy.” If you know the breed, she is no more high energy than any other. Since coming back, she hasn’t showed any of the behaviors I was told about. She gets along with all other dogs and people she is up-to-date on vaccines and spayed. This girl doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Her only downfall is she can be a bull in a China shop, however with time and consistency that goes away. She does need an indestructible kennel which she will come with. Otherwise, she is great off leash and has a good recall. I don’t want her continued to be passed around, so I’ll be very specific about who she goes to. She requires an experienced Malinois owner.
Now to the 2 girls I planned to keep but cant if no homes can be found for the kids above 🥲
Delta- She is a 2yo Belgian Malinois. Delta came to me from a hoarding case where she was one of hundreds of dogs trafficked. Her previous owner gave her up a year ago as he was passing from cancer and could no longer handle her since then she’s been in three homes until mine. Delta has a lot of drive and a want to please. She is loyal and sweet. Delta does suffer from some kennel anxiety from the lack of consistency in her life. But it is easily managed. I will be very specific about where Delta goes. You must have knowledge of the breed and live an active lifestyle. Deltas up-to-date on vaccines. She is also kennel and potty trained. She has a recall and listens off leash.
Flicka- is a 1yo Malinois/Shepherd. Flicka was pulled off to the Hillsborough County euthanasia list in January. she’s a sweet girl with a lot of drive. She would be best suited in an active home with someone familiar with a breed and a firm hand. She does well with other dogs. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. She’s also crate and potty trained. Flicka will not go to just anyone I will be very specific about where she ends up. She is great of leash and has a perfect recall. She has a strong personality and a huge heart.
Feel free to share and/or reach out if interested in any of these kids! 🫶🏻et hdd
