Suncoast Credit Union FOUNDATION PROVIDES $215,500.00 TO HERNANDO COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Spring Hill, FL -The Hernando County Education Foundation announces a charitable gift of $215,500.0 from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation. The funds will support educational initiatives throughout the 2026-27 academic year, aimed at enhancing student success in the Hernando County School District. These efforts will focus on advancing academic achievement and fostering growth for all students.

Suncoast Credit Union, Florida’s largest credit union, founded the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation to promote the education, health and emotional well-being of children in the community. Each time a Suncoast member uses their debit or credit card, the credit union donates four cents to the Foundation to fund local initiatives. Since its inception in 1990, the Foundation has raised and donated over $61 million.

Operation Cinderella Boutique helps Hernando County students feel prepared and confident with free dresses, suits, shoes, handbags, accessories, and more for female and male students.
