Want to join our team? The support our community has shown for Bexley and this mission has been incredible — and now we want to give more people an opportunity to get involved.

We’re forming community subcommittees made up of people who want to lend their time, talents, ideas and connections to help us continue building Bexley’s legacy.

We’re looking for volunteers interested in:

🧡 Events & Fundraising
Help dream up, plan and execute events and fundraising opportunities that bring our community together.

💙 Brain Aneurysm Awareness
Help us turn Bexley’s story into greater awareness and education about brain aneurysms. We would especially love to hear from medical professionals, brain aneurysm survivors, families who have been affected, or others with personal experience who can help us share reliable information, real stories and meaningful awareness initiatives.

🧡 Youth Sports & Community Outreach
Help us support young athletes, local teams, families and organizations while finding meaningful ways to give back.

💙 Sponsorships & Business Partnerships
Help us build relationships with businesses and community partners who want to support the Foundation and its mission.

🧡 Marketing
Help tell the BRF story through social media, photography, video, graphics, content and creative campaigns.

You do not have to be a board member to make a meaningful impact. Whether you have professional experience, community connections, a personal connection to our mission, creative ideas, or simply a heart for helping others, there is a place for you.

Play like Bex. Live like Bex. Be like Bex. 🧡💙

Interested in joining us? Send us a DM or an email to [email protected] to let us know more about you and how you would like to support our mission! Like and share this post to get the word out to everyone!

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from the Bexley Rose Foundation! 🌹

Today we celebrate the people who work hard, show up for others, and make our communities stronger.

Hard work was something Bexley understood well—on the field, in the classroom, and as a teammate. We’re proud to carry that spirit forward as we work to encourage the next generation of girls to lead, serve, and be great teammates.

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

HUGE PRAYER REQUEST

One of Bexley’s favorite teachers is Mrs. Brittany Morse. Mrs. Morse loved Bexley deeply and was there with her and her family while Bexley was in the hospital. Nothing was going to keep her from coming to pray over Bexley and her family in their time of need.

Now, Mrs. Morse is the one in need of our prayers!

Last week, while at school, Brittany suffered a medical emergency as a result of a brain aneurysm. The news has been difficult for so many who know and love her, and especially hard to comprehend for those of us who know just how closely her story is intertwined with Bexley’s.

Thankfully, she was surrounded by amazing people at Battle Creek who recognized the signs and acted quickly to get her emergency medical care. She is being very closely monitored and her medical team is working to ensure they take the best possible path forward for her. The aneurysm is between 4mm to 5mm and on a main artery. Surgical intervention is typically considered when the aneurysm is 5mm.

Mrs. Morse showed up for Bexley when it mattered most. Today, we’re asking this incredible community to show up for her — and to pray boldly.

Her family is specifically asking everyone to pray for the following:
• Complete healing by Friday’s MRI.
• Continued low to nonexistent pain, numbness and nausea.
• Wisdom and guidance for every physician and person involved in her care.

And finally, pray for Brittany’s family. This is not their first experience with brain surgery, and understandably, this has brought back difficult emotions for all of them. Pray that they are able to walk through those emotions in a healthy way and to lean on Christ.

Brittany came to Bexley’s side and prayed over her when she needed it most. Now this community who loves Bexley so much gets to return the favor.

Haley Stofel was one of the first people to step up and step in to help when she heard about Bexley. Anytime we’ve asked, “Haley, what can we do to help?” she confidently reassures us she’s got it covered. And boy, does she.

This weekend, Haley brought 66 teams together from at least four states to compete and raised more than $42,000 for The Bexley Rose Foundation.

She is an incredible leader, and we are so grateful for her kind heart, determination, and willingness to take an idea and turn it into something bigger than we could have imagined.

She reminds me a lot of the kind of person Bex was destined to become.

Haley, we know sports have played a major role in your growth as a leader, and this weekend you showed exactly why we believe so deeply in the power of youth sports. The lessons learned on fields and courts extend far beyond the game. They shape the people we become and teach us what it means to show up for others.

That’s the kind of leader Bexley already was becoming.

Thank you, Haley, for showing up for Bexley, for her family, and for this Foundation in such an extraordinary way. You didn’t just put on a softball tournament. You reminded us why the work we’re doing matters—and just how invaluable it is to give young athletes the opportunity to become the kind of people who someday show up for others the way you showed up for Bexley.

🧠 September is Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month 🌹

September is Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month, and this month holds a very special meaning for our family and the Bexley Rose Foundation.

A brain aneurysm can happen without warning. Many people don’t know they have one until it ruptures, which is why awareness and knowing the warning signs can be so important.

🧠 Brain Aneurysm Facts

• A brain aneurysm is a weak or thin spot in a blood vessel in the brain that can bulge or balloon outward.

• Many brain aneurysms do not cause symptoms and may never rupture.

• When an aneurysm ruptures, it can cause bleeding around the brain, known as a subarachnoid hemorrhage. This is a life-threatening medical emergency.

• A sudden, extremely severe headache—often described as the “worst headache of your life”—can be a warning sign of a ruptured aneurysm.

• Other possible warning signs can include nausea or vomiting, neck stiffness, sensitivity to light, loss of consciousness, confusion, seizures, or sudden neurological changes.

• Some unruptured aneurysms can cause symptoms such as pain around or behind the eye, vision changes, or problems involving nearby nerves, depending on their size and location.

• Risk factors can include smoking, high blood pressure, certain genetic or connective-tissue conditions, and a family history of brain aneurysms.

🚨 If you or someone around you experiences a sudden, severe headache unlike anything before, especially with neurological symptoms, seek emergency medical attention immediately.

For our family, this isn’t just information.

This is personal.

Bexley was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, friend, teammate, and so much more. She had a beautiful heart, a tremendous love for her family, and a passion for softball that brought so much joy to her life.

Her life was far too short.

But we believe her story can help save lives.

This September, we ask you to help us spread awareness, share the facts, learn the warning signs, and talk to the people you love.

You never know whose life you might touch by sharing a single post.

We will continue to say Bexley’s name, share her story, and turn our heartbreak into something that can help others.

For Bexley. For families. For awareness. For hope. 🌹

🧠September is Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month.🧠

Please share this post and help us spread Bexley’s story and brain aneurysm awareness.

Day two. And suffice it to say, our feet are tired, our faces are sunburned, and our hearts are completely full. 🩵🧡

So many people contributed in so many extraordinary ways to make this weekend what it was. From the teams who showed up, to the people who volunteered, donated, worked, gave, cheered, shared, and supported—we are overwhelmed with gratitude.

This weekend was bigger than softball. It was a community coming together for a little girl who left a really big mark on all of us.

Every game. Every gift. Every hour. Every person who showed up.

All for Bex. 🌹
