We’re heading to the airwaves for an afternoon of two short plays by Anton Chekhov on Tuesday, July 14 during Out and About with Maeve Griffith.

Joseph Selle is directing The Bear, which focuses on emotions running hot as a boorish creditor, desperate for money, comes to collect from his debtor's widow.

During this farcical short, other strong feelings begin to simmer beneath the surface...

The Proposal is being directed by Jeffrey Ridlington
and centers on the conflicts that come from people talking without listening.
