Hey everyone, we hope you all are having a good day. Just wanted to pop in with a request for support. While we work on a new schedule for protesting and other activities, there are a couple of letters we can write and send to help get the bill brought to the floor for a vote.
‼️DID YOU KNOW? The bill has been assigned a new number. It is now HB 2036 - The Gavin Looper Act
🌟 LETTER CRITERIA
NO Templates, this letter needs to be personal and written from each individual. We as community members and members of this State need to address our legislators directly on our concerns and how it effects us individually as well as the bigger picture. You can absolutely talk about how Gavin's loss personally effected you, your children, and family, and are encouraged to in this letter.
PLEASE be respectful. Let's all put on our best customer service voices and let them know how loud our collective voice can be. Jenny Graham says, "It sets a better tone as we work together to save lives."
INFORMATION that is important to include:
- Ask them to bring HB 2036 The Gavin Looper Act to the floor for a vote as that is the main objective of writing these letters and phone conversations.
