988 and their mcat care team are fraudulent. Do not call them. They purposely will do everything they can go make your situation worse while pretending to help. For example, they might say they got a bed for you at a shelter and tell you to pack up your camp and call them when you're ready to go. They'll say to take your time. Then when you call them you can't get through. So you sit with all your stuff packed up-including medications and food-waiting for a ride that was never planning on showing up. Then you wait til 20 min before sunset to frantically put your camp back together. You could have used those hours to shower, or do laundry, or any number of essential tasks, but they purposely wasted your time. Do not call 988. Message our organization. We will actually do all we can to help you and will be honest about it.

If you have been bullied in the fake help groups for Spokane, this is the place for you. Lori behrman frequently deletes posts requesting help immediately after help is offered. She does this because she wants the post up as long as possible so her and her friends can mock the survivor in their group chats, but deletes it as soon as someone offers to help. the page is designed to actually keep homeless people homeless, abused, and unbelieved. We ain't doing that status quo complacency bs around here. We won't delete your post because you are sharing your honest experience of being abused by a business, police, or government agency. This is a safe place for survivors and we want to help you thrive! This is your community! We aren't here for a buck! Tbh....I'm here bc I truly love Jesus with all my heart.
