It is time to start amassing artworks for the geocaching project. The current goal is 50 works of art that will fit inside an Ammo Box, as I will be ordering them for the project. So, are any of you artists or know anyone around here? 😁

We have a lot in store for 2023. This year we'll be launching our website. The geocaching project is taking off. We're partnering with Ferrous Fishin' for some shenanigans. Additionally, we're going to resume group hikes!

Today was supposed to be for catching up on the chores. Mountains won.

We'll be out at South Dragoon Creek Trail in Deer Park at 3:00 today. My mission is currently undisclosed, but it will be a blast.

To brag, last weekend's trail cleanup went well. We're still under some Facebook restriction, so you'll just have to take my word for it. o.O Hopefully, the cleanup effort for this month will be permitted to be posted.

Hello everyone! We are excited to announce Spokane Hike: Bitter About Litter – Mount Baldy. As many of you have heard, we at Spokane Hike tend to be rather ornery about trashy trails. The idea is: we didn’t do it, but we can fix it. Join us on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 10:00 am for a trail cleanup at Mount Baldy. We look forward to seeing you there!

Spokane Hike will be arriving at 9:45 am. We will depart the parking lot at 10:00, to begin the cleanup effort. 5341 E Valley Springs Rd is the most closely associated address that can be determined for the location. https://goo.gl/maps/vjEhywXMrcD1nUqM6 is the link to the location in Google Maps. If any clarification is needed, please let us know and we will be happy to explain whatever we can.

No. Just no. This is exactly the sort of thing that creates problems. In this case, what will be a good 600 pound problem of misguided hunger. At Spokane Hike we are as prepared for the eventual ramifications of this as we can be. The rest of y'all should be too. Also don't feed the bears, ffs.

The trail cleanup at Mount Baldy will be posted in 9 more days. I apologize but my account is currently restricted.

06/07/2022

I have the trail cleanup planned out, but am currently restricted from posting it. I'll try again in a few hours.

**UPDATE** I seem to be unable to find out any sort of information on my restriction. The moment I attempted to create the event, I received an email notifying me that my account had been temporarily restricted. If anyone would like to join the Spokane Hike team and help me run things. Specifically, post this event while I go yell at the internet for a while, I will be very grateful.

Another cleaning day is in the planning. The agenda has Mount Baldy as the spot. Anyone that is interested in assisting with this, please let us know! So far the plan involves a few spare pairs of gloves, some contractor bags, and one gentleman, who may or may not bring a small Bluetooth speaker with him. We need a lot of pictures taken, specifically of the trash we are not picking up this day. The goal is to get sufficient documentation to hopefully convince our local governmental officials to lend us a dumpster, unlock the gate, and let us do our thing properly. Please, join us in this effort. I don't really know how to motivate people that well; but if scones will help, let me know, and I'll bring scones. Potential date is 06/26/2022 at 10:00 am.
