Ten years ago, I thought I was building BLOOM - hosting events where moms and their friends could come to relax, be inspired and encouraged and go home with a full cup.
It turns out, BLOOM was building me, too.
And then life did what life does.
It stretched me. Broke me open. Surprised me. Humbled me. Made me question everything I thought I knew.
There have been three amazing kids to raise, incredible friendships, losing Heath unexpectedly and the heartbreak that I had to endure, learning how to live and parent differently, how to love again, and more than a few moments that made me look up and say, “Okay… explain THAT.” ✨
And somehow, BLOOM kept growing right alongside me.
10 years later, I don’t have everything figured out.
Thank God.
But I know this much. To really get life right, you need to:
Call your people.
Take the pictures.
Eat the cake.
Laugh until you can’t breathe.
Take the adventures.
Say the thing.
Find your community.
Love your people big while they’re here.
