Hi!!
My name is Haylee, and I’m a local mom working to start a small community food and clothing pantry to help families in our area who are struggling to make ends meet.
I’m currently looking for a small room or unused space that could be donated or made available at little/no cost for the pantry.
My goal is to have a space where donated food, clothing, diapers, hygiene items, and household essentials can be organized and stored. I would open the pantry to the community once a month, and have specific scheduled times during the month for people to drop off donations.
I would handle the organization and upkeep of the space.
I completely understand that businesses have bills to pay and that giving up a room for free isn't always realistic.
I’m simply reaching out because I wanted to ask in case someone has an unused room, office, back room, or other space that they would be willing to donate to this project.
Even if donating the space isn't possible, I would be grateful if you knew of another business, organization, or property owner who might be willing to help.
This project is really important to me because I believe people should be able to ask for help without feeling ashamed. I want to create a welcoming place where families can get food, clothing, baby supplies, hygiene products, and other necessities with dignity.
If you or someone you know may have a space available, I would love to talk with you and explain exactly what I’m hoping to create.
