Hello!! I though some of you guys would like to get to know the senior behind the heifer!!
My name is Shyloh Faith Turner and I’m from Skiatook, Oklahoma. I am a senior at Sperry High School in Sperry, Oklahoma. I am the middle child of three in a family of five. My parents, Bryan and Tiffany Turner are my biggest supporters and advocates along with my sister and brother in law, Simon and Sydney Teel and little brother, Jonathan. I have been showing longhorns since my sophomore year and although I haven’t been in it long I can’t help but feel so loved in the longhorn family. The past two years you have seen my sister and Simon do senior sale heifers and I’m so excited to be the next in line.
As for my personal life, I am so beyond grateful for my position as Sperry FFA Chapter Vice-President. I am a worship leader at my parents church in Skiatook and a sports photographer for my school. I enjoy helping my school and community. From canned food drives to butterfly habitats, I try to do anything I can to make people smile. I’ve shown my whole life but my first ever cow was a longhorn that my brother in law, Simon, HOOKED me up with(pun intended😂). I was so lucky to also get my boyfriend involved, Andrew Hutton, who will also be doing a senior sale heifer.
As for where I am going, I plan to attend a lineman college and follow in the footsteps that my father and grandfather paved for me. Upon my completed Journyman certification, I plan to join I-TEC in providing hospitals, schools, and church’s in third would countries with electricity in the name of our Lord Jesus.
I am so blessed to have this opportunity to truly connect with you all this year and to have my longhorn family be a part of my very special senior year. I truly do love this atmosphere and community that the longhorn organization has built and could not be more grateful to you all.
