Two Girls and a Cat Trap

A big shoutout to our friend Jamie from Cat Trap Depot! ❤️🐾

Jamie just wrapped up another targeted TNR event in Cowpens this weekend, and tomorrow she is taking 50 cats to get fixed!! 50!!!!!!!

That is 50 cats who will not be adding to the overpopulation problem!

We are so proud of you Jamie, and thankful for how you are making such a difference in our community!

We love seeing our local community heroes get the spotlight! 🐾✨

A huge shoutout to the amazing Spartanburg non-profit, . They were just featured in a fantastic article highlighting their tireless work and dedication to helping manage the stray cat population right here in our county.

Check out the article and photos showing them in action at the link below, and be sure to send some love and support their way! 👇🐈

Elizabeth Poirier and Epsie Coleman started Two Girls and a Cat Trap together. The nonprofit aims to curb the growth of feral cat populations.

Today is National Feral Cat Day, we’re asking for a little help covering the costs that come with TNR. Every dollar donated helps us get more cats fixed and prevent more unwanted litters.

While the surgery may be free, getting these cats there and caring for them takes money. Traps, trap liners, bait, puppy pads, medicine, and gas all add up FAST!

We are two girls with full-time jobs who spend our free time trying to keep the kitten population down, one cat at a time. And trust us, there’s never a shortage of cats who need our help! 😹

Because fewer kittens born outside means fewer cats struggling to survive. And that’s why we do it! 🐾

We are so grateful to have Two Girls and a Cat Trap featured in a Spartanburg Herald Journal article! What started with a desire to help community cats has turned into so much more, and we’re thankful for everyone who supports what we do.

Did you know Spartanburg County has as many as 30,000 stray cats? Here's how volunteers are working to bring the cat population under control. See link below ⬇️

These two are teen moms who have thankfully had their LAST litter!

We honestly thought we had trapped a couple of kittens, so imagine our surprise when we found out after surgery that BOTH had recently given birth. 😳 Babies having babies is not okay!

Thankfully, TNR has put an end to that cycle for these girls. No more litters, no more motherhood, just being cats and living their best lives.

SPAY AND NEUTER WORKS. Every cat fixed is one less adding to the already overwhelming number of homeless kittens. 🐾

We were trying to drop trap cats for TNR.

Wh***ey, a friendly NEUTERED neighborhood cat, decided he needed to be an integral part of the process. 😂

After eating all the bait from underneath our drop trap, Wh***ey jumped into the car to join in on the action. Ultimately he decided what he really wanted was cuddles and attention and ended up in my lap. 🤦‍♀️

TNR for the win!!
