Please consider supporting the Southwick Land Trust during the time of giving of this year!
As we reach the end of 2025, we look forward to continuing our mission and can only do this with your support. As a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2024, we are still in our early days and rely on your support to exist!
π± Our mission is to protect Southwick's rural heritage & its diverse ecology by acquiring & permanently conserving natural corridors, wildlife habitats, scenic, historic & agricultural land while also promoting awareness of open space and making access easier.
When you donate to the Southwick Land Trust, youβre doing more than protecting land β youβre investing in education, stewardship, community connection, local wildlife, and the future of Southwick. Every gift helps us make conservation accessible to everyone by providing low- or no-cost community programs that teach, inspire, and bring people together.
Your support today means we can continue β and grow β this work. Together, we can protect the places we love and keep our community connected to nature.

πΏ Looking back on our work in 2025:
With the support of community members like you, we were able to have community impact through:
π Hosting a standing-room-only Mushroom Lecture with Jonathan Kranz β over 100 people attended. (March 2025)
π Welcoming wildlife expert Fran Ryan for a Mountain Lion lecture, sharing valuable insights with 40 attendees. (April 2025)
π³ Leading the Southwick Spiff Up & Native Plant Sale, offering affordable native plants and collecting 40 full bags of trash, helping keep our town clean and vibrant. (Earth Day 2025 π)
π Bringing back a round two of the Mushroom Lecture with Jonathan Franzβ another full house, with 50 people attending. (May 2025)
πΆ π²π Offering a guided Mushroom Walk with mycology specialist, Jessica Benson Evans, giving 25 community members an immersive learning experience outdoors. (September 2025)
Thank for you making 2025 a wonderfully full and active year for us!
We look forward to doing even more in 2026 with your support.
