Sasha’s Pals

Sasha’s Pals Sasha's Pals focuses on fostering and saving animals in need! I decided to start this page to dedicate to our fosters and the rescues that we work with!

In March 2019, we started fostering and it has become a passion. What I realized with fostering is that I can be that animal's voice. I can write their story and tell potential adopters about the animal's personality. There are some that we have to spend more time getting healthy and socializing. Most act like a completely different animal in a home environment and that's where fostering is key! A

nd while I didn't think I could let the dogs that we foster go, I realized that the best thing is to let them go to wonderful families so that we can help more! The Sasha's Pals name has a history. I had a wonderful friend, Libba, that was like my grandmother. When she went to a retirement home, she was very lonely. I rescued a pup for Libba named Sasha. These two simply adored one another and spent every minute together. Sasha added years to Libba's life. Sasha's Pals is a tribute to their love and bond. Now, let's go save some more lives! With love and hope - Tracy

Just a gentle reminder - we are not a boarding facility. If you meet a dog and it’s a fit, you can take the dog home that day or the next day. (Not after vacation). If have an upcoming trip, come see us when you get back. Our foster spots are reserved for fosters whose lives we are trying to save and we always have a waiting list of dogs needing to be saved. Thank you for understanding!

On a happy note - Hip, hip hooray for Lilly Marie - she found her forever home today! Her wonderful adopters came out today and it was love at first site!

I guess you could say I lean toward two main breeds - hounds and Great Pyrenees. They are both a very docile and loving breed. My Mabel is a hound that looks a lot like Swisher and Shelby. These two live up to the characteristics that I love. They are very smart and willing to please - already potty and crate trained at 5 months. They are sweet, goofy, and loving to the max. Come meet these two!

Update - adopted!

Again, we have a brother that is really missing his sister. While it’s good to separate siblings so we don’t risk littermate syndrome, they are always forlorn when their littermate leaves. Ronan and Maeve beat the odds together and were found in Waxahachie and helped by Good Samaritans. We are so excited that Maeve was adopted today but poor Ronan is a little lost. He will be so much better when he goes to a new home as our house is where he had his sister. Ronan is such a good boy at 9 months old. He is silly, cuddly, calm, playful, potty and crate trained. Someone come scoop this boy up!

Update. Adopted. Ok guys - let’s pull out all of the stops for Lilly Marie. She was with us as a puppy and had to be surrendered due to a domestic violence situation. She is precious and honestly, my favorite!

Lilly Marie is such an easy keeper! She is easy, easy. Potty and crate trained and awesome dogs, cats and kids. She has such a sweet personality and just wants to be with her person. Even though she’s good with other dogs, she doesn’t play. She is more of a pal.

She would do great in many homes because she is so calm. She would even be great in an apartment. She doesn’t bark and is non-destructive. Her favorite thing to do is to go! She loves walks and riding in the car. When she sees her leash, she will automatically come up so you can put it on her. And open the car door, and she jumps right in!

When it’s time to go to bed, she sleeps right beside my bed and doesn’t make a peep all night.

Lilly Marie is just waiting for her forever home. She’s had so much turmoil but that hasn’t made her wary or untrusting. She just wants a home that will love her unconditionally. Please help me help her!
