In March 2019, we started fostering and it has become a passion. What I realized with fostering is that I can be that animal's voice. I can write their story and tell potential adopters about the animal's personality. There are some that we have to spend more time getting healthy and socializing. Most act like a completely different animal in a home environment and that's where fostering is key! A
nd while I didn't think I could let the dogs that we foster go, I realized that the best thing is to let them go to wonderful families so that we can help more! The Sasha's Pals name has a history. I had a wonderful friend, Libba, that was like my grandmother. When she went to a retirement home, she was very lonely. I rescued a pup for Libba named Sasha. These two simply adored one another and spent every minute together. Sasha added years to Libba's life. Sasha's Pals is a tribute to their love and bond. Now, let's go save some more lives!
