We are grateful that you joined us for Cirque du Wishes at Wish Ball Grand Rapids on Friday! Your presence made the evening truly special. Wish kid Mackenzie had her wish granted live onstage to go to New York City and see her favorite Broadway shows, and we shared a video of Grayson’s wish to meet his favorite author Jeff Kinney/Diary of a Wimpy kid!
Your kindness and support spark the magic behind every wish and filled the room with joy. Together, you help carry our mission forward and inspire hope for Michigan’s wish kids.

Walk for Wishes 2026® was a great success on Saturday at the Detroit Zoo! What a beautiful morning to celebrate Michigan wish kids and our incredible Make-A-Wish Michigan community. One of the many highlights was wish kid Matthew’s wish to be a Detroit Tigers for a day, was revealed onstage to be granted!

Saturday was another great day at our Walk For Wishes event at the Detroit Zoo!
Wish kid Matthew’s wish to be a Detroit Tiger for a day was revealed today as his wish was granted onstage!
Matthew, 8 has leukemia and received a special message from Tiger player Kerry Carpenter and was given a jersey from Tiger player Tarik Skubal during his wish reveal!
The event has currently raised $365,000 and counting to help make wishes come true for Michigan children across the state. Thanks Detroit Tigers for helping make Matthew's upcoming wish come true! You can still donate today at www.walkforwishesmi.org
