Camp WA WA Alumni -Friends of Segowea/Smith Park Friends of Segowea is a group of people dedicated to the continued support of Camp Wa Wa Segowea. Please consider making a tax deductible donation today!

We are run by volunteers and are fully funded through donations, gifts and fund raising efforts. Alumni, family and friends have come together to raise money for improvements to camp infrastructure, and to preserve the tradition and spirit which have helped children become stronger more confident people for almost 100 years. Camp Wa Wa Segowea has been camping at its current location for over 70 y

ears and many of our buildings and facilities are in need of major repair or replacement. We are currently running a major capital campaign to raise the funds needed to provide a quality place for our campers to play and grow. Mission Statement:

To support Camp Wa Wa Segowea's growth and progress, preserve its history, maintain its traditional values, and provide opportunities for alumni and friends to stay in touch with each other and Camp Wa Wa Segowea. To support the overall mission in building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. To help ensure equal opportunity for all children who wish to attend camp, especially those living in the Dutchess County area.

This is the time of the year when Smith Park, the operators of Camp, holds their Annual Meeting. Groups of Camp friends get together and just talk about camp. What can we do to make camp better, reach more people, present opportunities for kids to have that experience? And they can and they will accomplish just that! These volunteers gather together to reflect back and look forward. The meeting is this Saturday, the 21st of March at 10am EST. Join us! Send us a message and we will forward the link!
