If your household experienced a power outage during the recent storm and you lost food, you may be eligible for replacement SNAP (DTA) benefits.

The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) can replace food purchased with SNAP if:
• Your household was without power for 4 or more hours
• Food was lost or had to be discarded

⏰ Important: Requests must be submitted within 10 days of the power outage.

To request replacement benefits:
1. Contact DTA (by phone or online)
2. Report the food loss due to the outage
3. Complete the replacement request form:

DTA may request verification, but it is not always required.

First Steps Together had a silly, special and sweet stuffy sleepover! There was a little magic, a little mischief, and a cozy storytime read by FRSS Philip — enjoyed by both the stuffies and our staff. 🧸📚

Thanks to our partnership with NightNight.org, we’re able to provide pajamas, blankets, books, and cuddly friends to children — bringing warmth, comfort, and literacy to families.

We’re so grateful to help make these moments possible. 💛

Cape Cod Children’s Place has been awarded a major grant to support local families🎉

We’re honored to share that Cape Cod Children’s Place has been awarded $590,000 Family Resilience Grant (over the next three years) from the Mosaic Opioid Recovery Partnership, powered by RIZE Massachusetts and funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health .

This incredible support will strengthen our FIRST Steps Together Cape Cod program and expand our partnerships with Sharing Kindness , AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod, and Corn Sister Circle , helping Cape families affected by substance use disorder find healing, connection, and hope.
