Hey high schoolers! 🌿 Good news—We have decided to accept applications on a rolling basis until June 5!! If you’re a rising junior or senior within 35 miles of Davis, CA, come join us July 17-20: Explore science careers and have fun camping in South Lake Tahoe 😊 We’ll provide transportation, gear, and everything you need. Tell your friends ~ ☀️🪐🌲🐿

One more FYI- GOALS (“Girls” Outdoor Adventure in Leadership and Science) is open to youth of any gender who identify with girlhood! 💚

We’re planning another program for high school girls* (trans-inclusive) for July 2022! Interested in being a trip leader, curriculum wizard, mentor, gear expert, or event planner extraordinaire?? GOALS is hosting an informational meeting for new volunteers next Tuesday Mar 15 at 5pm. Scope out your nearby parks and get ready to discover some 🦆🐝🌿🌻 you never noticed before! 🤩 (also, all green spaces count. This photo is actually a cemetery!)

Rising 11th and 12th graders in our 2021 program will design their own research projects, spend lots of time in nature, meet a bunch of awesome like-minded girls, and talk to REAL scientists (who aren’t cis dudes!) about careers and life.

PROGRAM DATES: July 21-31. APP DEADLINE: May 24.

⁣Esme, a 2018 GOALS Alumni, just graduated from Vacaville High School! She will be majoring in Applied Physics at Caltech with hopes of becoming an engineer in the future (or maybe a researcher, she hasn't really decided yet...). She is excited about moving to Pasadena and being surrounded by so many brilliant people (and good boba places) now that she has graduated from high school.⁣
