In 2002, a group of ten women desiring to serve the senior members of their community, began a small singing group. Each year, the choir auditions additional talent, and the group now boasts 40 talented singers and musicians in its ranks. The Decibelles perform all over the Wasatch Front, from the Layton area to north Utah County. The group finds great joy in primarily performing for assisted livl
ng, senior citizen, and retirement centers. Additionally, the group performs for community meetings, special events, and church groups. The Decibelles sing in 3-4 part harmony and include the use of props, costumes, instruments, percussion, and choreography to deliver an entertaining and worthwhile program designed to uplift and delight. The Decibelles perform two programs annually, including a secular themed program as well as a seasonal Christmas program.
