On Sunday, February 9, 2025, our brother Juan Barrera was called to his heavenly home. Our brother attended Hosanna Apostolic Church and was a work colleague to several of the members of Mount Zion Apostolic Church. He was an extremely kind and humble brother and we will miss his presence among us. Any amount that you can give to bless the Barrera family would be deeply appreciated. God bless you all.

Praise the Lord. Mt. Zion will be hosting a Celebration of Life for our Sister in Christ, Maria Barrera on Sunday, August 22nd at 5pm.

Sister Barrera was a loved member of our Spanish congregation and we ask all to hold her family in prayer. She is fondly remembered for her passionate kindness, selflessness, and love. She was a true doer of the Word and an example to us all. She will be deeply missed.

We receive consolation in knowing that she is now with her Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mt. Zion Apostolic Church Friend Day is on Saturday, July 24th, from 2pm to 7pm at 1016 S. Chester Ave, Compton, CA 90221. The theme is Sports Day! Rep Your Team. Dress in your favorite team garb!

Everyone is invited and we ask that you bring as many friends as you can invite! There will be carne asada, hamburgers, games and cool prizes.
